Tooth consists of three parts namely enamel dentin and pulp. The inner layer i.e., pulp is made up of blood vessels and nerves. When the cavity extends nearer to the pulp, the bacteria find a pathway to reach the pulp. These bacteria will infect the pulp and results in severe pain commonly called as TOOTH ACHE. For the tooth that develops deep cavities which are extended into the pulp, root canal treatment should be done. It is a process where the pulp is completely removed from the roots and the root canal space is replaced with other material.
